Symbion’s Founder Mr Jon Cavanagh Awarded Lifetime Achievement Award

Symbion kenya limited is proud to be associated with the development of architecture over the last 50 years of the existence of the architectural association of Kenya.

At the recent 50th anniversary gala dinner held at the Radisson blue hotel Symbion's founder Mr Jon Cavanagh was awarded a lifetime achievement award for his contribution to the architectural profession.

At the dinner to witness the awards was a Symbion team comprising architect Priscilla Oluga, architect Joash Obare,architect Anvi Shah,architect George Munene, architect Arthur Oyugi (director) ,architect Oscar Ogunde (director), and architect Michael Lord​

This yeast annual East African Property Investment summit was themed on Unlocking East Africas potential. The Symbion group was represented by Oscar Ogunde Executive Director whomwas a panelist on a discusssion on expanding opportunities beyond Nairobi.

Mr Ogunde singled out the counties and especially affordable housing as a growth area and the importance of partnerships between private developers ,the Government and financial institutions in providing appropriate housing and financial instruments that would enable uptake of the houses.

The discussion was moderated by Mr Gikonyo Gitonga Managing Director Axis Real Development and Mr Ogunde’s co director at Development management advisory groupm(DMAG).

Other panelistsnincouded were Ms Ranee Nanji ,co-ceo Tilisi development Kenya, Nick Langfort Country head Rendeavour Kenya Ltd and Mr Kris Senanu ,managing director enteprise division Telkom KenyaOscar Ogunde Executive Director
